Ristorante Raphael
In
2002, Noah founded Ristorante Raphael, an 85 seat Kosher Italian
Restaurant and Bar in downtown, Berkeley, CA. With Chef Domenico,
a veteran restaurateur who hails from Lazio in Southern
Italy, they have created a menu which showcases vegetarian
and vegan cuisine, plus a selection of fresh fish. In less than
two years, the restaurant has already received numerous awards
including: "Bay Area Naturally's 2005 Restaurant of the Year",
"Best Kosher Restaurant", "Best Kosher Caterer", "Best Italian
Restaurant", "Best Pizza", "Best Take Out", and "Best place for a small
party". |

Jewish Community High School of the Bay
In
1999, Noah Alper founded and served as founding president of the Jewish
Community High School of the Bay, a co-educational day school providing
a rigorous, college preparatory curriculum in general and Judaic
studies. A first of its kind in the Bay Area, Noah was
instrumental in the building of the school on a whole city block in San
Francisco, raising over $20 million in funding and establishing this
state of the art academic facility to accomodate up to 2,000
students. Currently Noah serves as past president and is a
memeber of the board of govenors. |

Noah's Bagels
In 1989, Noah opened a single bagel store in Berekely, CA and in six
and a half years became the largest Kosher retailer in the U.S.
with over 60 bagel shops in the west and took the company through
an initial public offering and sale for $100 million. |

Holy Land Gifts
From
1985-1989 Noah Alper was founder and President of Holy Land Gifts, a
catalog and wholesale business of foods, handicrafts, housewares and
gifts from Israel. |

Bread and Circus
In
1973, Noah Alper was co-founder of Bread and Circus, a natural foods
grocery store in Brookline, Massachusetts. As a pioneer in the
natural food industry, Bread and Circus was eventually acquired by
Whole Foods Market. |

Alper International, Inc.
From
1971-1984 Noah was founder and President of Alper International, an
importer and distributor of gourmet housewares, with importation from
nine countries and distribution nationwide. His products were
featured in several national publications including: McCall's,
Bon Appetit, Woman's World and the Montgomery Ward catalog. |
